Susan Alexander and Tom Alexander are a mother-son team who proudly opened Lettie’s Kitchen in Spring of 2011, located in the heart of Hockessin, Delaware. Lettie’s Kitchen offers a delicious variety of homemade soups, innovative salads, hearty sandwiches, delicious flatbreads and more!
Lettie’s Kitchen is the Winner for Best Fried Chicken: Editors Choice in the Best of Delaware 2014, so make sure you grab a bucket of our Award-Winning Broasted chicken and add a few sides from the deli case for a quick and satisfying meal that is sure to please the whole family.
Lettie’s Restaurant is located on Old Lancaster Pike, adjacent to the Francis J. Swift Memorial Park. This location could not be more perfect; the park was named after Fran Swift, a beloved member of the Hockessin community until his untimely death in 1978. Fran also happens to be Lettie’s husband, Susan’s father, and Tom’s grandfather!
